Image 6.0.001 keeps my Zgemma H9S box crashing, reverted back to 5.4.016 My H7S works very well with 6.0.001.

I have not set them up. i must have deleted them and then reflashed the box?

They're in /home/root/logs by default.

So I have just flashed my H9S box with ViX 6.0.001 without any issues, but not used a settings backup.
Can you try the same - flash image no setting restore

I would rather avoid starting from the scratch. I had no peculiar plugins except ymod oscam inactivated. I have removed all those files. That might have caused the error. I wonder if my skin is too much for 6.0.001?

I have installed enigma2-plugin-picons-snp-full.400x240-400x240.light.on.transparent_2021-01-04--23-56-42_all.ipk
with a collection of 28546 picons 1 Kb each included in my backup. No memory overflow even close. Could that be a problem?

Hi, I have upgraded to open vix 6 from 5.4.016 and all previous setting seem to have come across ok, but I get an error trying to install xtremeditor "enigma2-plugin-extensions-xeaio_3.0.6_all.ipk" from local extension, this has not been a problem on previous images.

Anyone have any ideas....?

My conclusion is that local extensions not included in the standard extension list are tough bites för 6.0.001. These could be excluded from the settings backup. I have not tried that yet.

@rte is correct, if its not in the normal downloads in plugins then its likely to have issues with python3.(OpenViX 6.0 or OpenATV 7.0)

depends where you are storing the picons.

Hi Guys thanks for the comments, I don't mind how I get Xtremeditor installed on my box it's just how I get access to my IPTV on my Vu+ Uno4K SE. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...............Spevs

somewhere you have a url to the web site and userid & password - you can use that on most IPTV plugins e.g. IPTV Bouquet Maker
