    MKV audio stopped working

    Hi,

I have an MKV video file on my box of one of my kids favourite films. She's watched it probably 100 times.
    The file name is like:
    <Name> 2016 1080p BluRay x264.mkv

We went to put it on this week and there was no audio.

I think I did an update from the UI Settings of the box recently, so I'm wondering was anything changed recently in the build that would stop audio from playing.

As I said, we've watched this film dozens of times over the last couple of years on the same box. Same file, same box, same everything, except maybe a few software updates.

So either the file has changed somehow (my box is also my Plex box so maybe Plex did something to it), or the OpenVIX update changed some codec.

Does anyone have any ideas here?

    Thanks

    Hi,
I do not know about Mut@ant but VU removed support for DTS a few years ago. You could try ext3player which still supports DTS and can be configured as default player on E2.

    How do I configure it?
I know how to choose default video player in apps like Xstreamity and Jedi, but not sure how to do it for the default video player.
I'll have to double check I have ext3player installed from plugins as well...

EDIT: Ok so I have ServiceApp installed and I think I have ext3player set as default:
