Box options for Sky Q communal dish (can't be altered) and no DVB-T

I'm currently under sky q contract in a residential development with a communal dish. Therefore I don't have access to alter the LNB in the dish itself.

To make matters more complicated, I can't install an outdoor aerial (management company) and my indoor aerial does not receive Freeview (I'm in ROI).

Do I have any DVB-S/S2/SX Enigma2 options that will utilise the wideband sky q dish (without hybrid LNB)? Ideally with SAT>IP functionality.

My aim is to receive the Freesat stations, but the Arris box is not available in Ireland, so an enigma2 box would be preferable.

No. Enigma boxes don't have wideband tuners. But maybe you can get switched over to a legacy feed.

Also, currently no way to open Rté on 28.2E on an enigma box.

Thanks for the reply. I know the Arris Freesat boxes have wideband capabilities, I guess I was just hoping there might have been other options (that's a near 300 quid box which isn't even available here).

I can get RTÉ on DVB-T so was thinking of a combo tuner if I could get the DVB-S feed, but that looks unlikely thanks anyway!

There are unicable switches that accept wideband LNBs. Not seen any posts by anyone using those. Nonetheless, maybe worth investigating.

Abu is correct. I didn't think about that option. Sky Q local oscillator is 10.41 GHz so you need a multiswitch that is compatible with this.

e.g. Dur-line DCS 552-16. Company is German, but have an Amazon store.

DUR-line - I have a very similar DUR-line switch (quattro only) and it works well, as does some other DUR-line kit (and their pricing is also a lot better than some other non German outfits)

Yes - amazon.de became quite popular in Ireland after Brexit (before the amazon.co.uk site became IOSS compliant). Just another tax fiddle by amazon to ship UK based goods under the pretence of being an EU company.
