    So, if I do reinstall the image, new plugins will auto be installed to fix this issue ?

    The idea is you install the image without any plugins. Then install your plugins/extras one at a time until you find what is causing the sluggishness in your menu that until now no other user has noticed.

    The menu issue was mentioned by you alone.
