I tried it out and it works - at least partly. What doesn't work:

1. The coloured button functions work, although the buttons themselves are not shown - a theme issue:

Could be, I'm seeing reviews using a recent 5.5.014.013 release , but the 5.4.013 (June 24th) release gives limited details.

OK, will wait for the latest and greatest. The review stars show up fine. The Top Review does not. The buttons still do not show, but work fine when pressed. The other thing, which was always a problem with Simple_Ten_Eighty, is the layout of the imdb details on the right of the screen is overlapped by the picture on the left. So, the text is not always readable, as the left edge of the text is covered up.

There used to be one user review of the film but I'm sure it wasn't the "top review" , just a random user review. Sometimes the reviewer was so far up his own a**e that he wrote at length about the history of the actor, director, lighting cameraman etc. without mentioning the actual film and it was the worst every made

Heh! Yes, some reviews do go way off-piste. Most of them can be quite useful in determining a film is worth recording/watching or not. This is especially true when the Storyline section of the imdb summary is too vague. I don't really know if the reviewer comments are selected at random, if it is the top review, or if it is the latest review posted on imdb. In any case, the review which used to be displayed by the plugin was from the section titled "User reviews". The Top Review seems to be the one displayed on the imdb main page. The current version of Simple_Ten_Eighty stops displaying just above the review section. Anyway, glad to see the plugin is working again and I'll see how it works with the next OpenVIX release.

I got it working by replacing :

with

re.compile('<div.*?ipc-media--poster.*?<img.*?ipc-image.*?src="(http.*?)"', re.DOTALL)]
