Exclamation Gigablue UHD 4k receiver [Enigma 2] - how to update Kodi from 18.9 to 19.1?

    Hi
It might be a silly question, but I do not use it much and keep forgetting things.
I saw that pop-up telling me I am on 18.9 stable and there is a 19.1 stable version and mentions kodi.tv - no other explanation.

I thought it would automatically update/upgrade.

No as memory goes it is only telling you of a newer one available and you are given a choice if you want to upgrade or not.

Not used Kodi on the sat box for a while and unsure if the plugin gives an option o upgrade.

Depends what you do with Kodi, the new version will stop most 3rd party addons, which is how I watch most US tv shows

    OK, better leave it alone.

I only use it once in a while.

I use a laptop when I really need to catch up on something I missed, but would be nice to use the receiver as a browser.

I will have to look into it, when I have the time.

During the day, if I am at home, the receiver is hijacked by my grandson1/

    hahahahha
