What is the difference between Twin and Combo?

I do have a h9 twin, and I notice that for many images the download link for the twin image leads to the combo image.

Are there any real difference in these images, or can one safely install any h9 combo image on a h9 twin box?

AFAIAA the only differences in the boxes is the the type of tuners. Yes, you can use "h9 combo" images on the "h9 twin".
I have a h9 twin and have done this many times without problem.

Personally match firmware to box model as they might differ slightly as i see 6 images for the 9 model and they are for different boxes.
