'Menu' / 'Setup' / 'System' / 'Input Devices' Weirdness in 5.4.004

There's some odd things going on with the items on the menu at 'Menu' / 'Setup' / 'System' / 'Input Devices'

1) 'front panel' appears twice on the menu.

2) Choosing 'Select to configure remote control type' (it says default) and immediately backing out with red or exit causes the remote control to stop working and I have to telnet or SSH in and reboot the box to regain control via the remote.

LATER: I can fix 2) by changing the setting from 'default' to 'Zgemma ...H5' (... = can remember exactly but it ended in H5).
