Gigablue UHD Quad 4k - Upgrade from 5.3 to latest 5.4.... quick question

    Hi
After a long time I am back asking about 5.4 upgrade.

I see this page is given by main WOS site for upgrades
Is the above [link] procedure OK for my Gigablue UHD Quad 4k receiver?

I guess an image of the whole system is better be done and copied externally before upgrading - just in case.

Thank you and Happy New Year 2021 - one can only hope!

This is the usb flash guide you need....

    https://www.openvix.co.uk/openvix-bu...0Quad%204K.pdf

but it's much easier to "couch" flash using image manager where you can download the image and flash it.

Take a settings backup and image backup first.

    More info and instructions here....

The link you posted was for a Gigablue UHD Trio 4K and relates to the partioning changes. That is not relevant to you.

You don't have to copy externally, you can do everything with your remote. No need for USB drives.
Please refer to the thread @CCS directed you to.

I did not even read it, as I was doing a load of other things and my phone reminder ... remided me to download + get info, as I have only done it once a long time ago.

    Thanks

I will move your thread of image download section now.
Best to use the image support section or general discussion.
