Recently i added TS IPTV to my bouquets and it works great, but i wanted also to try HLS IPTV, with different quality, i added it the same way as the previous IPTV to my bouquets, but it doesnt work, do i need to download something in order to play HLS streams on enigma2?

i dont think u know what im talking about (or what is IPTV), its just simple link, that can be played in mediaplayers, like vlc, mpchc, potplayer and so on...
the whole list is in m3u format
and as i said, i was able to convert TS to a boquet and play it without a problem, however HLS doesnt work.
Ok i found a solution, its very easy, but not obvious to find, if u want to play ur HLS IPTV list from a bouquet on your enigma2 box, all you have to do is install ServiceApp, then in openvix settings > system, open ServiceApp, and change Enigma2 playback system to - serviceapp, and thats it, from now on HLS streams work like a charm, also recordings seem to work better with that new player too.
The only other thing i would change there, is the bitrate to the ammount that suits you, if u want to save some bandwidth ofc, like if ure on mobile or something, but it only works, if the provider allows you to chose different resolution/quality stream.
