Which box do you recommend for me?

    Hi

Having owned a Vu+ Duo for years I seem to be having problems with it losing ITV channels. I do a search and all is well for a few days and it goes again. What bx should I be looking at getting now. It must be able to record and as I now have IPTV it would be great to be able to watch IPTV through the box and recording IPTV channels would be even better but I dont know if this is possible.

    Thanks

Whats is your budget? Apart from IPTV, will you be using Terrestrial and satellite or just satellite?

Do you have any suggestions for which box to go for. I would like the same functions as the vu+ duo ie recording more than one channel at once, pausing live tv and watch one channel whilst recording another. Would be good to have one that can be used with IPTV but can live without it recording IPTV. Its been years since I bought this box and totally out of touch with it all. We receive our TV through a satellite dish and dont have an aerial on the house at all.

There are quite a few receivers for you to consider. So long as you have two tuners, all the functions will be the same as your current box. One thing to bear in mind is that almost all new receivers use a 2.5 drive. So you will have to factor that price in cost.

The AX61 hasnt had many negative comments. It uses Stalker plugi, no idea how to use it. But a few IPTV experts use it

    Octagon will need external HDD

GB UE 4k. This has HDMI issues with certain TVs. I dont have a problem with that aspect.

    The Zgemma H9
Not sure why, but quite a few posts of peopel having problems with it on other forum. Maybe it is combination "noob issues" and low cost.

Which box would you recommend please? I want it to have the same functions the vu+ duo box does ie pause live tv, record more than one channel, allow viewing of one channel whilst recording another and if it can be used to watch IPTV then all the better. Oh and a wireless connection too. Its been years since I bought the Vu+ duo and im totally out of the loop now with the options.

VU+ Duo keeps losing ITV channel

    I’d recommend the AX HD61 receiver >> https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk...echnology-hd61

Great twin satellite box which you can setup exactly like your Vu+ Duo but you have the added bonus of using Stalker for your IPTV needs too. (Will need usb Wifi dongle)

Or if you want a cheaper option but with built in Wifi then look at this one >> https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk...zgemma-h9-twin

Apologies, it would seem that some of my posts had been moved here and I couldnt find this thread to see if there had been any replies. I will have a look at your suggestions. I dont mind paying for a decent box, ive had years of use from the Vu+ duo.

    Thank you
