    HbbTV

Hello, what about HbbTV streams in OpenVix? In other images this feature is activated pressing Red button on remote control, but I did not find it in OpenVix. Is it available?
I'm particularly interesting in Swiss HbbTV services. Thank you.

Unfortunately it does not work in Switzerland, HbbTV is not loaded. Maybe only in the UK?

    Hi,
HbbTV is a standard but I think no British station uses it. Do not mix up with your red button which is totally different. HbbTV is more or less a web browser for information of the service you are watching. It was thought as a replacement of teletext.

btw. it works on Duo4K but I think it must be installed and is not default. For 4K boxes something with webkit must be installed NOT OPERA!

Installing this plugin is enough? Once installed, long press Red button on remote?
Yes I know english red button, it activates alternatives TV signals broadcasted on air.
HbbTV activates video streaming via internet, so an internet connection is required.
In Switzerland these streams perfectly work on my LG TV, but I would like to use them on Vu+ Duo4K OpenVix 5.4.001 too. Maybe this additional plugin is required? Thank you.

    Hi,
I think chromium is also needed because it is the central part and gives you as an addition Youtube TV which I like.

I did a new scan this morning to check. When I do long press red button or start through blue button choices appear but then nothing.
Can't change channel or any other functions on remote. had to switch box off

Up to release 5.2.45 it worked for my VU+ Solo2 with mipsel chipset - also for Switzerland. I just installed the plugin, activated the pluging through the blue button and was able to see hbbtv.
Unfortunatley since 5.3 a opera program piece is no more availabe and the installation fails. For the time being I have installed MediaPortal and have so access to Swiss, German and Austrian TV Media Portals.

Strange enough under OpenATV hbbtv works perfectly fine also for my box.

    Hi v8rick,
it sounds like HbbTV is started but not completely. In this case only exit will work. You will see a change in the display at the box if HbbTV is started.
