    latest version (036 - 037 - 038 and 039) issues...

Wanted to start a fresh on this STB, so i grabbed the latest installer (.039)

After the flash, when it gets to the start of "DO YOU WANT TO INSTALL PLUGINS" as part of the INSTALL WIZARD - when selecting YES, it crashed....

I then tried .038, .037, 0.036 - same issue. The only one that worked was OpenViX 5.3.035

(i was using the downloader tool in vix (image manager) to download and flash in the various slots.

ALSO another issue with those later versions, when trying to MOUNT my NETWORKED NAS - at the point it asks, do you want to enter a USERNAME and PASSWORD, when selecting YES, it crashed....

Again, it is fine on 5.3.035....so as it stands i cant really go beyond this version at the moment...

    Please advise.

Are you sure you are flashing 039, I am sure we fixed that. In any case, you can say no and install plugins after the wizard have finished and box has restarted.

Install wizard crash was first reported in 5.3.037 and fixed in 5.3.038.

Maybe crash logs for both crashes will help??

Maybe try a USB flash from the recovery image instead?

Or starting up the new version initially without restoring settings and only once it's working restoring your settings as was the original fix for this in 5.3.037.
