    Mutant update from version 5_0_027 to 5-3-037

    Good evening,

    I've been a bit dilatory in updating my Mutant 2400 And am just trying to bring it up from 5 0 027 to 5 3 037

    So two questions;

    * Is this too much of a jump - do I need to do something intermediate

    * Perhaps I should try the FTP process described in a recent post?

    Best to all

    Andy

    If you want to restore your settings etc, then you would be best updating to 5.1, then 5.2 and then 5.3. If you are happy setting your Mut@nt up from scrstch then jump straight to 5.3.

    There is no need for intermediate builds, you can't update between image ranges and must flash anyway. Just go to most recent image. The most important things are your timer files.

    Thank you.

    The mutants' VIX based software updater seems to have taken it to 5.2 all by itself but is now saying it can't take it any further and I need to flash the box to get to the next update.

    So I guess I'll have to do that.

    Best

    Andy
