No favourites or ABM after update

Edision OS-Mega with 3 tuners looking at 2 satellites and all OK for last 12 months until today, when I flashed with 5.3.036.
Tuning has found 2,000 channels but I am only interested in FTA and only want about 20 of the channels listed.
Prior to flashing I had an EPG and could put selected channels into lists but since the flashing there is no opportunity or options for selecting a channel to put into any sort of list.
Tried to set up ABM only to be told there is a signal problem yet the channels I want are all there and working well.
I am confused and would greatly appreciate any help or advice.
    Thanks

ABM is not affected by the bug in 036, it is only Vix plugins. i.e anything you access by Blue> Vix.

The signal problem is specific. Read what it says on the screen, it will tell you the tuner and frequency it is failing on. You can then check if you can receive that frequency using signal finder. Amke sure you select correct tuner, satellite and frequncy.

Please read this for ABM issues

I don't mean to sound harsh, but please forget EPG while dealing with your bouquets issue. They are two different things, deal with one at a time. Don't complicate things by dealing with bouquets and EPG at the same time. Advice given for your benefit. To save your time and solve your problem

Ok, I just thought that with the feeds being down, moving to 5.3.036 might be problematical.

Thanks for this tip Abu ''The signal problem is specific. Read what it says on the screen, it will tell you the tuner and frequency it is failing on. You can then check if you can receive that frequency using signal finder. Amke sure you select correct tuner, satellite and frequncy.'' Much appreciated.
I have now found another post which gave me a clue and I now find that if I open the service list, highlight the channel I want, then press Menu and then scroll down to an option to Add to favourites - this works!.
I now have a favourites list of 37 channels, which is OK.
The EPG I have now installed and that also is now working.
Allow me to make an observation: My 3 year old Vix manual seems to be exactly the same as the manual I just downloaded before flashing the box and the instructions re ABM are very different indeed to what I have just done.
    No criticism just an observation.
    Thanks for the help.

Which frequency were you not getting a lock on?
