First time downloading the latest Formuler F1 image i got a browser pop up.

" Website blocked due to a suspicious download

    Download blocked: openvix-5.3.033.release-formuler1_usb.zip
Malwarebytes Browser Guard blocks downloads that either come from websites that see relatively light traffic or may contain potentially malicious content. This is intended to protect you from new scams. However, if you trust content from this site and would like to proceed, click "Continue."

Just thought i would mention it as possibly my end not your Cheers

Something not right downloaded image and froze on flashing for some unknown reason, unplugged box initialised usb in box.
Image Maker backed up image took longer than 6 mins.
Went to download new image via feeds and box crashed 3 times ????
Changed from Openvix to Open Atv 6.4 and is downloading to box.

    Please check your end please.

A freeze during flashing is not due to what you're flashing being faulty, it's just a glitch in your box due to cosmic ray, power surge or whatever.
It will however leave your box with corrupt firmware that you'll have to recover with some emergency recovery procedure.

I don't get any warnings here from Malwarebytes. I think you got a false positive.

First was on laptop on w7 and later on W10 desktop same pop up on 2 different machines.

Why does Image Manager fail 3 times when asked what platform do you want to use -Openvix

Image Manager works on the Openatv choice of platform and flashes box.

If box was corrupted would a different platform using Openvix which failed and openatv worked ok mean its not corrupted.

I will try and dig up an old xp and see what happens as want Openvix on box
    Cheers.

No issues with image manager here either.

You sure you haven't got some virus on your network somewhere?

Have you checked space available on the hdd where you are saving images???? I have had situations where it downloads (but fails) because when it gets to save the image there is insufficient space (I tend to use a usb stick). Unfortunately this situation is not easily trappable without rewriting the download code which runs as a “job“. (And Yes, ATV & ViX images can be different sizes)

Having said all that, the download code for all the images is exactly the same apart from the url used.

First of all its a powered external desktop 2tb hdd and unplugged while trying to use the good old usb way.I thought when box is flashing the box screen moves as mine is frozen.
Cruzer usb flashes so i know something is happening and stops flashing so i know its finished but does not reboot box with latest image.
Cruzer usb flashes Openatv 6.4 normally but i dont like it.

Old laptop downloads Openvix latest image and no pop ups.
Trying front port to flash box and other rear port usb flashes as normal to show movement and still says a frozen " flashing " Does it move to show whats happening as not sure?

Cruzer usb is 8gb and flashes all boxes i have, other 8gb was a kingston micro usb.

Still getting the browser warning when trying to download so it must be to do with the browser app on Firefox as not on the old laptop and downloads ok.
Plenty of funny things happened and eventually sorted my Openvix Image.
    Cheers.
