Using a Zgemma remote on ViX HD51

Is it possible to use the Zgemma remote on the latest vix image?

If not can it be added as a remote similar to OpenATV?

Interesting question. I wish I could use my old Zgemma remote on my Vu+ Solo2, it was so much better to use. Better feel and more responsive.

I checked zgemma's not supported. Flashed to OpenATV more remotes supported.

Using FTP, navigate to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens. Backup the file called InputDeviceSetup.pyo. Copy to PC and keep safe
Delete InputDeviceSetup.pyo

Transfer this .py file to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens and then restart,
A new InputDeviceSetup.pyo file will be created
Delete the .py file

If problems occur, transfer the original file you had backed up

Maybe I did something wrong but there is no diffrence in settings option wise

Would love to get my zgemma remote working with OpenVix.

I am pretty sure that the ATV files I was trying to add were added to the Vix image. Best to try it.

Which receiver please? Not all receivers use the same protocols, so don't expect this to be available for all receivers.
