    Android Apps

Does anyone use any android apps to set timers? I currently use Timote but since upgrading to Vix 5.3.028 I am unable to get a channels full epg list in order to select the programs to set the recording. I have also downloaded DreamDroid and this also has the same issue. I was just wondering if anybody else was experience this issue or not?

I've rolled back to vix 5.3.027 and all is working ok again. It must be due to the changes being made to the EPG files. It would be disappointing if the final outcome of the EPG changes meant this functionality no longer worked so hopefully this will get resolved.

I tried this with Dreamdroid and it worked. How exactly are you doing this. There is one EPG screen which uses two different names in different places. This may be it.

Also, there were commits to openwebif to fix an EPG issue in last few days

In DreamDroid I was going to Services>Bouquets>"Bouquet Name">"Channel Name">Browse EPG. At this stage it would fail to pull through the data.
The TiMote equivalent is Main>TV>"Bouquet Name">"Channel Name"

The EPG changes are UI only and have nothing to do with services that external apps and OpenWebIf use to read the EPG and timer data.
