Can’t program Vu+ Universal IR Remote

    Hi everyone,

I just purchased the remote ‘VU+ Universal IR remote control for all VU + receivers - LATEST VERSION’ for my Vu+ Duo2 box from World of Satellite.

I’m trying to program it to turn my TV on/off.

For this I’m following these instructions:
    1. Press and hold 1 + 3 for 3 seconds until LED light is on.
    2. Enter 4 digit TV code.

But I can’t get past step 1. The LED light does not come on.

Could anyone help me with this issue please? Do I need to press different numbers for this remote to complete step 1?

    Regards,
    Andrew.

Does Hdmi Cec need to be enabled on Box.

Found this on an earlier thread for another tv might be of use.

" Short manual how to do it (for people searching for it):

    1. Make sure that the volume on the STB is at 100%.
    2. Hold TV and OK button for 3 sec. until the LED turns on.
    3. Press the 5-digit TV code - in my case - for Thomson it was 10716. The TV codes are listed in the manual from the STB.
    4. Press OK to save it and you are done.

If you mess something up, you can easly reset it by holding PVR and EXIT for 3 sec. "
