    Plug and play tuner issue

Months back i replaced a working dvbc/t from aerial and inserted a sat tuner to make box a 3 tuner sat box.Unsure at that time if all had tuner lock and working.
when selecting automatic sat scan no sats are found so i replaced tuner back and saorview works.Reseated sat tuner and still not working.
New tuner arrived and inserted and same no signal. My 3 feeds work in the A and B tuners but not C.

I was told to reflash to a later image to see if it fixes it but unsure ?Cheers

Is a m88ds3103 tuner recommended for this box?

Both tuners are in original boxes but differ, one is on a green board and other on a blue board and stickers differ. Both come up on a plug and play tuner for the F1.

F1 DVB-S2 TUNER was my first tuner

Removed tuner and fitted this one now.

What are you actually asking? What is the problem? Please use words that other people will also understand.

I'm slightly confused - the tuner setup list shows that the tuner is detected, but not configured. Did you try configuring it for 28.2? What error did you get?

Yes both sat plug and play tuners i cannot get to work in that slot but if replaced with the cable version it will work on saorview.

    I have 2 X sat feeds from 19.2
I have 1 x sat feed motor control
    I have 1 X sat feed 28.2

Yes any sat feed into tuner C does not give me anything if setting to 28.2 or automatically checking an unknown sat feed as it comes up failed on all sats.
Configuring to 28.2 or 19.2 both have the same result.

Other boxes et 8000 and et 10000 are using swappable plug and play and setup without issues

Setting tuner C to 28.2 and no lock

Tuner C when setup and configured does not work

Please do just this and test just this. Do not comment on anything else as it jsut causes confusion.

    Set tuner A as disabled
    Set tuner B as disabled
Set tuner C as simple, single 28.2

Go to manual scan. Ensure you select Tuner C. Perform a scan just using tuner C.

    Does it find anything?

If not connect a 19.2 signal wire, set tuner as simple, single 19.2.
Go into manual scan, make sure you are testing with tuner C. DO you fidnd services?

If not connect the other 19.2 signal wire and repeat.

Once again, please stick to these exact tests and restrict your comment to these tests only. Anything else will be just confusion.

Was not sure it was a hybrid tuner but the add @CCS posted says it is and when inserted i can scan on saorview and pick up channels via aerial.
Nothing on both plug and play sat tuners which is strange.

If a hybrid tuner (a tuner that is Cable or Terrestrial or both) works, it means that the socket on the motherboard is fine. Maybe it is not getting enough power from the PSU. Are you able to test with another PSU?
