I have just installed plex on Z8, but it does not play the files I get green flashes and multi coloured lines, the files play ok on Tv via app and on amazon fire tv box

I am sorry for this, I am not getting TV mode is that on the remote or in the app
Basically when i say TV mode, I mean the Plex App is in TV mode (i.e Pin Connect) opposed to Mobile OS mode.

I have given up trying to get plex working on the Z8, but thanks for all your advice
A easy alternative if not.
Install Kodi 18.6.
Install Plex Official Addon from Buiit in Kodi Repo in Video Addons.
Open Plex addon
Pin connect your plex
Settings in the plex addon
Change remote quality from 4mbps to original / maximum.
Then try your plex titles in Kodi Plex Addons.

installed kodi from market on Z8 the version is 18.2, the got plex app from kodi repo and it is playing the files OK
Does the formuler z11 pro max have issues with 4k in plex ?
