Uninstall ipk Cccam installed manually in Mutant HD51

    Hi there.

I am suffering from occasional freezing using oscam-latest in my Mutant HD51. I have another VU+Solo2 running Cccam 2.3.0 and oscam-latest. As Cccam in Solo is not freezing, I have tried to install it on Mutant too. But because I couldn't install Cccam through the plugin menu in the Mutant, I have done it manually by placing the ipk file in the TMP folder.

Now, as this is not the version that I want and it doesn't even work, I am trying to uninstall it. The problem is it doesn't appear in the plugin list to uninstall it.

Can anyone please direct me in the right direction? I am running OpenVix 5.2.034 image. Thanks.

Uninstall ipk Cccam installed manually in Mu

It depends on the ipk you installed. Issue following command:

    opkg-list installed

You will get a list and can then issue following:

    opkg-remove name_of_package

You could also use image manager to flash image and restore settings afterwards. Backup Manager won't restore what is not on the plugin server.

The ipk I installed was vuplus-team.com_OscamPowervu-CCcam-2.3.2-OpenVix_all

I have managed to uninstall it by FTP usr/ softcam and it was there. Select it and delete it. Done. Thank a lot for your help man.

One more question. Can I download normal Cccam (not oscam) for Mutant HD51? None of the ones I have installed seen to work.

I guess this will remind you not to install ipk's from other than the feeds - or at least that any ipk is meant for the hd51 arm chipset.
So if you have not done a settings backup then run one and then online flash the latest image (ImageManager)
On the restore ONLY restore settings
    Gigablue Quad 4K & UE 4K
    .........FBC Tuners:
    ------------------> DUR-Line DCR 5-1-8-L4 Multiswitch to 1.5M dish(28.2E)
------------------> Spaun SUS 5581/33 NFA Multiswitch to 80 cm dish(19.2E)
    .......................> FBC & DVB-S2X into 90cm dish (27.5W) Opticum robust Unicable LNB
    AX HD61, Edision Osmio 4K+, Zgemma H9Combo, Octagon SF8008 , gbtrio4k, h9se using Legacy ports on multiswitches
    Zgemma H9 C/S into Giga4K
