    Cross EPG on H7s

    Model Zgemma H7
    chipset Broadcom 7251S
    Vix 5.3.19

Good day gents, I have just purchased the box from WOS and I do not seem to be able to get CrossEPG to work,it installs but when I go to settings there is no option for where to save the epg file and when I exit setup I get the message "PLEASE READ! A hard drive or a usb pen is strongly recommended. don't use flash etc " I have both a hard drive and a usb pen drive installed and I can record and pause live TV. I have attached a crash log for those who are au fait with Linux. Is this a vix 5.3.x issue? if so how do I go back to the latest 5.2.x version. Many thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the reply.
In menu / setup/epg /settings it is EPG location /media/usb
In menu / setup/epg / CrosEPG/configure and then press the Green/OK button I get the message I first Posted -- "PLEASE READ! A hard drive or a usb pen is strongly recommended. don't use flash etc "
I have no idea where to address this.

I have it working, still configuring it. I downloaded the plugin from the enigma2 git and FTP it to the box and then used the install from temp function and it works??? Yes I now have the EPG I am used to. Many thanks to all that helped.

Great its working - FYI Crossepg is in the feeds and should be downloaded from there. In many cases its now replaced by epgrefresh which is pre installed.

There was no need for you to download then FTP and then install. You could have just installed it from the plugin menu.

I did install it from the plugins menu first,it didn't behave,a bit of googling led me to the enigma2 git so just downloaded it and installed, it worked. Coincidence ,I don't know, not a linux guru.
