    Replacement for a Vu+ Solo 2

It looks like time has caught with my trusty receiver.

Looking for some input for a replacement. 4k is a nice to have, but not a necessity. What is a must, is HDMI/Scart out.

I am more than happy to stick with Vu, but if there are better out there, so be it.

    No particular budget in mind.

    TIA

I doubt you will find many boxes with scart as mostly newer boxes are on hdmi, does your tv only have scart or has hdmi also.
Do you have a 4K tv and would like a 4 K box.

The HDMI/Scart out is for distributing the signal around the house.

The TV is 4k, but, as I earlier, I am not that hung up on 4k.

You're going to struggle to find a scart output, you may have to invest in a HDMI Modulator for distribution, but you'll need to check if your TV's are compatible.

You’ll not get any new receiver with Scart, you may need to advertise for a second hand receiver that has Scart or rewire your distribution system to bring up to date.

I am onboard with the HDMI modulator. Should have dome a while ago, really.

I'd advise you check your TV tuners if they're old TV's, if reasonably new you should be fine.
