    5.3.014

Upgraded to 5.3.014 and everything went haywire. Bouquets just appear as folder icon, no EPG and unable to access settings menu. It just opens a blank box. Had to re-flash 5.3.013 via USB to regain control of box. Everything back to normal now but very reticent to upgrade other boxes.

    Can anyone shed any light?

If the answer is yes, the plugin has a script to remove all the bouquets it made when it is installed or updated. When you perform a software update, any plugins in the 3rd party feed are also updated. I did ask Kiddac to remove this from the plugin installation scripts, he was not convinced of the need to do it.

Would a settings restore (not plugins) after s/w updating to 5.3.14 bring everything back?

(Assuming a settings backup had been taken before the update.)

No, I don‘t think so - its one of the wonderful things about this (very good) plugin, it has a habit of burn and destroy on re-install

Would need to see log. Only thing I saw when updating my NanoSE M2 was Alsa sound card error when updating.

As I have re-flashed, will pertinent log still be there?

No. let's see if anyone on older image can get logs.

Default is for settings backup to be made when a software update is done, so not too drastic an issue.
