    How do I turn on DVB subtitles permanently?

    I have a few channels with DVB subtitles. When watching these channels I have to turn on the subtitles each time. If I leave the channel and later goes back to it, I have to turn the subtitles on again. I think I have tried all settings with no luck. When playing back a recording from one of these channels the subtitles are on.

    MENU->SETUP->AUDIO & VIDEO->AUTOMATIC LANGUAGE

    Change "Subtitle Language Selection 1" to the language you require.

    It works now. The error was that I also had enabled "Prefer subtitles for hearing impaired".
