    Multistream

What must I do to enable multistream on a GiGaBlue UHD Quad 4K with openvix 5 3 013.

If I use a predefined transponder such as the attached I get no channels.Image1.jpg

If I scan the whole of Eutelsat 5 west I get 345 channels but not one of them multistream.

    Multistream

I’m guessing you did purchase another optional DVB-S/S2/S2X tuner for multistream channels?

DVB-S2X and multistream are 2 different things. As Andy says you need the optional tuners to get multistream - the built-in tuners will only receive DVB-S2X and you can find some of these channels on 33 East.

I specifically asked before I bought it and I was told yes. It looks like you could be right.

@naszdom, the tuner in the screengrab is MIS capable. If it were not the multistream transponders would not show in the list.

You can verify the capabilities of the tuner by highlighting it in the "NimSelection" screen and pressing info.

Your problem is signal. The combination of 8PSK and 8/9 error correction requires a lot of signal. More than any other transponder on that satellite.

What size dish are you using? And where are you located? Give us the signal levels you are receiving on other transponders so we can compare to check the dish is correctly set up.

@Huevos - I noticed that on the Gigablue Teamblue factory (?) image they have added values for this tuner in frontend.cpp (the same as the old FBC tuner 45208) - we should probably do the same?

So just some arithmetic to adjust SNR readout.

Do you have the receiver? If so please add this commit so we can work out the correct name for the tuner.
