Box crashes when using EPG

Hello,

The box crashes sometimes when I'm looking at the EPG. It gives a log and suggests posting the log up. Apologies in advance if I've missing something obvious, I'm new to this all.

I have flashed the box (just downloaded the latest version of Vix, put it on a USB stick then put it in the back of the box. Sorry I'm not sure if that means with settings restore or without settings restore. The issue is still there after flashing.

The contents of the log are posted below.

Any ideas what the problem is or what I can do?

No I've no skins or customisations. The box had previously crashed, so I just downloaded the latest OpenViX version from http://www.openvix.co.uk/index.php/d...ision-os-mega/ and flashed the box with that. That's all I've put on it. thanks.

That seems to indicate that you have no currently-selected channel/service. Which sees a little odd.
Try changing the channel your looking at without using the EPG (so use the Prog+/Prog- buttons).

You have hit a bug I need to mention in another thread but it is hard to replicate.

Can you list the exact steps to produce it please?

As in above post by original birdman, invoking EPG after selecting a service/bouquet will be fine.

I had just updated the channels via e-channeliser. I has it on BBC news, then pressed EPG button and it crashed straight away.
