Does the VIX latest image support 4K tuners

This is quite possibly me being stupid BUT I cannot seem to get any 4k output from my Zgemma H9S using the VIX image (or the ATV for that matter)
When I go to video settings I put in 2160p (I think) the screen goes blank. I am using a modern LG OLED Tv that is definitely 4K.
Any ideas as to what is going wrong?

Obviously you need to be watching a 4K broadcasting channel.... Or are you wanting to try and upscale everything from SD/HD to 4K? which won’t be to clever.

Thanks Andy. I have tuned in 28.2E Astra 2 on the one tuner. There are 2 4k free channels but I cannot see them in 4K or at all. Whereas on my TV which has a 4K Satellite tuner in. I can see them.
My point is I should be able to change the video settings to 2160p and I can't...

You might have to play around with the video settings on both the receiver and TV. E.g. some Samsung TV‘s have specific setup requirements
... but I know that Andy has an LG oled so maybe he can help further.

......lastly what type of hdmi cable do you have????

    Hi,
are you sure that your TV supports HDMI >= 2.0 with 2160p60? 4K TV 2 years or older often only supported HDMI 1.4 with 2160p30.

Price is often no indication of quality and HDMI 2.1 cables can be obtained much cheaper than that.

Read the reviews on Amazon for...

I wouldn't look at anything more than a tenth of the 200 Euro price.

    Problem solved ***
When I connect directly to the HDMI input on my 2016 LG OLED Tv. The 2160p works.
This is either an issue related to the 5.1 Yamaha Amplifier I am using OR the HDMI leads OR the HDMI splitter that I am using to send the signal upstairs (This is marked as 4K compatible)
I will have to dissect the system to find out.
Either way the Zgemma definitely works in 4k with the latest VIX image.
Thanks to all for your input.

    Hi,
I think the splitter is the problem. Most 4K splitter only support 2160p30. For the amp you can look in the specs but every amp of the last 2-3 years support 60Hz.

Is the amp 4k? If it isn't then it can only pass a 1080p signal.

Are all the HDMI ports on the Amp 4K. Some Amps have x amount of 4K ports and others HD. Just a thought.
