We are also talking about an image that has no public repo.
I have to ask would it be an advantage to us to decompile the image or the py files they got some interesting gui and other functions, but i know not having any commits is abit frustrating.

At the moment, we are clutching at straws. There are contrary posts and sometimes questions/responses are not in sync.

Trial said that VTI have their own SNP code. The picon.pyo attachment you said was the official VTI one did not have it.

I have never used VTI, and my Vu receivers are boxed away. So I cannot test it.

Saying SNP does not work in ATV is muddying the water and throws us off track. It does. If it didn't, TechKings would be full of posts about picons.

I had a heated exchange a PurE2 mouthpiece on Linuxsat when one of their users said SNP was not working. Skin had it's own renderer that did not support SNP. That fact got lost in the fanfare about PurE2 allowing picon location to be set. Completely irrelevant to the problem. I cant find the thread
Best to flash anew and decompile official files and add debug.

The skin you mentioned has its own renderer. I can't see SNP code there.

What I mean by functions is horizontal menu icons amongst other things as well as some interesting plugins to enhance the skin

LOL, so you would leave an image with useful core features and move to to an image with pointless features and lose the useful core features?

Most probably will go back to vix on the solo as it works well, still got vix on my mutant

I like to experiment and see if there's any useful features I can import.

Best to ask the skinners who do so. I suppose one reason is to implement something that image makers refuse to add.

I guess the metrix reloaded xhd picons was added to the skin to implement two versions of picon.
But I still can't understand why still stay with srp and not snp picons by name as surely makes sense when stations change frequently or name changes from sky movies alien to sky movies starwars etc
