Picons by name why dont they show up on openatv and vti images

Hey strange Problem here with picons.

I have a mutant and vu solo2 so after looking on the vti forum I noticed they have some cool features and so I thought I'd reimage the solo2 to the latest vti image.

Anyway I've noticed my picons don't show up even after setting the path.
On vix they show up instantly even all my iptv channels get picons but not in the vti image.

Just wondering if they need to be in a specific format at all.

Would appreciate any help from those who experiment with different images.

VTi probably does not have the patch.

No idea. VTi is not a PLi based image. Have a look in the folder on the receiver to check if patch is present.

BTW, patch is by OpenViX but is now in most PLi based images including PLi.

Just to confirm that vti does have the Picon.pyo but copying over the vix version causes a boot loop, not sure if i can get a version of the vti Picon.py

Yeh vti got some good gui on there's skins there's one called fluid next which has horizontal icons in the menu and uses a plugin called epg share which can put TV episode images in the channel selection and the guide.

Pitt they can't sort the picons out

So not sure if the picons need to have the service reference or if it need to be 8bit rather than 32bit
