creating your own epg for vod services

Hi Guys not sure if correct place to post.

But id like to create or edit the epg data as i have many channels that are just vod streams as you can see from the images below, what id like to do is create info for all the vod streams like title,description,poster/picon etc.

So i have john wick on channel 717 which currectly has no data attached to it.

I currently use epg importer to get my iptv epg data.

Theres a epg.dat file in media/hdd which i cant open is the data written here from epg importer

i can see in the userbouquet that the stream is like below.

    #DESCRIPTION John Wick
    #SERVICE 5002:0:1:FFFF:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//iptvstreamexample.mp4:John Wick Chapter 2
and in a normal service you have the reference like below.

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:856c:148:8913:0:0:0:0

so i presume you can use a dummy service but how would i create my own data file/reference if i copied data from TMDB etc

I think you need to look at how the eit file is used in movies and not services

Thanks but is the eit file in the movie section ie recordings.

Could be a massive task with hundreds of films in the vod section, maybe a better solution is something like kodi as you just need the m3u file but kodi not working at the moment.

Just for reference, ATV added a new poster renderer for movie posters in their 6.4 branch
