I'm looking to buy a box purely for streaming to my android tv in another property, my android phone and potentially my brother's tv and phone as well, probably using dream Player and dream Player for tv, all over the internet. This will sit in my attic, directly connected to my router.
From my research I need a box that can handle transcoding in order to stream over the internet. I need something that can handle both DVB-S2 and DVB-T(2?). Obviously I could shell out a fortune for a top of the line Vu+ but those are way out of my budget. Is there something similar that can handle this for a fraction of the price?
I was looking at the Zgemma H9 Combo box as it says it can handle transcoding. Is that good enough for what I want?
Can I add usb tuners to that so that two people can view or record different channels? I already have a usb DVB-T stick.
Is there a better alternative?
Thanks for your advice in advance.
