    Autobouquetmaker Missing From download extensions

    My new Octagon SF8008 4K

I am trying to set up my new box's EPG to FreeView UK, as it is described how to do so in the forums. All the instructions advised using Autobouquetmaker.

From the menu I selected install Plug-Ins and then Extensions, it then downloaded dozens of extensions but Autobouquetmaker was not listed, so I couldn't selected as it was missing.
Please advise me how install the EPG FreeView UK Without Using Autobouquetmaker, Or is there some other way to Obtain Autobouquetmaker .

Your help will be most appreciated.

Welcome to the forum and Enigma2.

ABM is pre-installed in OpenViX. Installed plugins do not show up in the installation routine/process, they show up in the remove routine/process. If you are not using OpenViX, above posts show where it to install it from. OpenATV calle "Tuners and Scanning" "Reception" because you can receive services via SatIP/Fallback.

Bouquets (categories/genre/groups of service/channels) are not the same as EPG (synopsis). If you accept this difference rest of your experience with Enigma2 will be fine. If you do not accept the distinction, you will stay in a muddle.

    Some useful threads for you

You may also wish to always show bouquets ( post by ADM)
menu -> setup -> epg -> grahical epg -> show bouquets on launch = yes
menu -> setup -> epg -> multiepg -> show bouquets on launch = yes

The TV button on the Sf8008 is not operating like other receivers at the moment, so see this thread

Many thanks for the information, it was very nice of you to come back so quickly and answer my question and I have now managed to get the FREEVIEW EPG on my box.
On my old box I could select it to download all episodes of a particular program. Such as the news every night at 6 o'clock. Can't seem to be able to do this on this box. Also I had a button to press marked RECORDINGS by pressing this I could see all my recordings and choose which one I wanted but I also don't see it on this box. Perhaps there is a way but I'm not seeing it. I would very much appreciate your advice and help.

Are you asking the following question: How to I schedule a daily recording of a program?
If so, the answer is to set an autotimer.

There will be a button on your remote for recordings. Probably the one marked "playlist". Maybe someone with an Octagon can confirm for you.
