    I really wanted a Zero 4K.

I was given a Zero as a present. I did say 4k but she thought it was bargain as I told her it was around £139. Pity its a Zero and not 4k as I like some of the 4k content. Now do I sell this at a loss and get a Zero 4k or just buy a cheap 4k box and hope she doesn't spot the difference.

Tell her you like it so much you have put it in the bedroom so you can both watch TV etc there and buy another 4K receiver, then connect the Zero to the "main" new box in C/S mode.

Mostly the boss watches Amazon Prime and Netflix. I watch few foreign ones if they show aerial views or wildlife as I do not need to understand the language.

That is not 4k dvb broadcasts. You need a 4K firestick.
