    EPG on 5.3.002

If I install previously saved setting from 5.2.040 will my old epg configurations still be there? If so how do I get rid of them.

Yes. Without you saying which, hard to advise on removal.

If your question is specific to CrossEPG, it won't be installed automatically so won't take effect. The CrossEPG configs are not in the normal file called "settings" but are restored in the CrossEPG directory.

If you are a 28.2 user only, there is no problem with continuing with CrossEPG.

Other EPG plugins will apply after you install/restore them.

It was crossEPG I was referring to, but I'm now using the new epg importer and am just concerned that they might be a conflict.
Is it OK to just delete Cross EPG from the USB which where I had it.

You can delete the CrossEPG folder. There may also be another one in /usr
