some things I need do every update or power failure

    Hello,

i have done some configuration to openvix:

    - install additional tv picons on /icons/ path
    - I use LCD4Linux of Openwebif to configure LCD (disable LCD when receiver is shutdown and change picons path)

The problem is that every time I update openvix or there is a power failure in my house, I need to do again the same. It is a bit annoying.

Do you have any recommendation to avoid to reconfigure openvix so often?

    Thanks!

I would manually select the files/folders you want saving via the Backup Manager option and then save a backup (settings), that way if you do encounter a power failure you could always restore your “modified” backup as apposed to the “vix preset backup”.
When in Backup Manager, press the Menu button (I think) not 100% sure or it could be a coloured button, but look at the bottom of that screen for the options.

OK I will check it, do you know the path of LCD4Config... I will try to find it and I will test the backup/restore procedure with a power failure
