Out of curiosity, how many satellites can you receive?

The computer programs have been listed above already. They are mainly for windows. You can edit your bouquets and services/channels.

    DreamBoxEdit
    DreamSet
    E-Chanenlizer

And already mentioned, there is a bouquet editor in OpenWebif.

    There is also the remote.

I can or am recieving 2 satellites, 28.2E Astra 2E/2F/2G Services, and the same again but has New against it in OpenWebif. From these I get FreeSAT and BSkyB. Also I can recieve Sky, and selected the FTA channels, but they weren't listed in the epg that I could see so I disabled Sky

Oops, I didn't realise they were computer programs. Yes I saw the bouquet editor in OpenWebif, but I used the Hide section in ABM to hide what I didn't want nor need.

    Thanks

It is impossible for you to have 5000 services just on 28.2. I suspect you are using multiple 28.2 providers and you are counting the blanks that ABM makes.

I asked if you were using ABM, you did not answer. Looks like you have made some changes anyway. There may be more tweaks you can do, but you need to provide your debug log if you want help doing so.

    Hi,
I would not clean the channel list and remove all unwanted services because the next time you do a channel search they are all back then. Create favorites/bouquets and put your programs in here then you do not have to care about the rest of the services.

It looks like my post of what I did either didn't go or has disappeared.

In I said that I used ABM to hide sections that I did not need nor watch, so apologies for that.

Also I said that there were 5000 channels, is that the same as services? I got that number from the actual epg listing, and yes there may have been blanks, so again apologies if I have got that wrong.

I didn't realise that I was asking for ABM support but for ViX support.

Anyway, as I mention before in the other forum, it is not important, but as I have hidden sections now I only have about 500 channels showing in the epg, that will be fine for me.

    Thanks

I can't understand why you're not taking the advice given in post #19.

It's not that I am not taking the said advice, more because for now I have hidden sections which I don't need etc. Also I do not like doing something if I am not confident in doing.
I may well look at that when I have more time to do as it says.

I created a Favourites bouquet in OpenWebif, but I can't see it, even after refreshing the browser, shoul I be able to.
I assume once it does show up, I can then add channels to it.

    Thanks

There is an existing favourites bouquet. Are you sure there was no clash of names?

No, I am not sure at all. As I created it in OpenWebif, wouldn't it have told me there was a duplicate name.

    How can I find out.

On your box? On the computer in Webif Bouquet Editor?

If on the box try -> Menu -> setup -> EPG -> graphical EPG -> show bouquet on launch

If on the PC - in Webif Bouquet Editor
Add Bouquet and chose a name for yourself (freds_fav) and press OK
You should now have an empty list called freds_fav
You now have to populate this empty list
    i) Click on the name freds_fav to highlight it
ii) Now go to Freesat entry in the provides list (not the list that includes freds_fav) and highlight it
iii) You should get a list of all the channels
iv) Scroll down until you find BBC1 for the region of your choice
    v) Highlight it and press the add to bouquet button.

Quit Webif and go to your box
You should now find a bouquet aclled freds_fav that has only BBC1 in the list

Go back to Webif/Bouquet Editor and repeat steps i) to v) above for each of the channels you want in your own favourite list

Note: once the list is populated in Webif/Bouquet Editor you can re-arrage the order of your newly created list by highlighting a channel name and dragging it to another postion in the list

In ii) above you can substaitute BskyB for Freesat (Both Freesat and Sky share the same cluster of satellites and free to air channels.)
    Xtrend ET10K, 2 x satellite tuners 28.2 (Sky FTA), 2 x hybrid (UK Freeview), Zgemma H9S (satellite)

Did you hide the favourites bouquet/non-ABM bouquets when configuring ABM?

    Not intentionally I didn't.
I can see it now on the HD51 by enabling show bouquets on launch from adm's reply to my question.
