    VU+ UNO tuner questions

Pardon me for being a bit of a dumbo on this subject but what does this mean specifically:

THIS VERSION IS FITTED WITH TWIN DVB-S2X FBC TUNER MODULE***
***CABLE DVB-C FBC TUNER VERSION CLICK HERE***
***TERRESTRIAL TWIN DVB-T2 VERSION CLICK HERE**

Looking at the back picture, I see it has dual tuners and / or 2 connectors for twin satellite feed. For a twin satellite feed do I need to make any changes or ask for anything that meets with what I have, ie twin satellite feed in.

    Thanks

I believe the s2x-fbc tuners can record many more programs than the standard tuner.
    cable Dvb/c uses cable.
Terrestrial dvb/t2 uses aerial on roof freeview or saorview.

    VU+ UNO tuner questions

It is an FBC tuner. You can use a normal LNB with it. It will work with your current 28.2 signal wires (provided not wideband Sky Q)

It has 8 demodulators. 2 will be independent, 6 will be loop through.

If you use a unicable LNB, they will all be independent.

once again, you can use an FBC tuner module with a normal LNB.

As regards the ***TERRESTRIAL TWIN DVB-T2 VERSION CLICK HERE** do I have to select or choose this , or is it fitted as standard.

Do I have to buy or get a unicable LNB fitted to my satellite dish.

Is it an optional thing then for the ***CABLE DVB-C FBC TUNER VERSION CLICK HERE***. If so I don't need that.

    Thanks

There are 3 versions of the Uno 4k, you choose either the satellite, cable OR terrestrial tuner to suit your needs.

The Uno 4k will only take one tuner card. You pick whether it is fitted with a satellite, terrestrial or cable card.

You do not have to change your LNB to use it with the FBC satellite tuner card. It will work with a normal LNB, but not a s Sky Q wideband LNB.

However, you get more benefits with a unicable LNB.

On the vu products page https://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/VU there are 2 Uno 4k's to choose from, satellite or terrestrial.

Whichever one you pick, the link provides a reminder of which one you've chosen, and the alternative.

The cable option doesn't appear to exist.

Because of what was written underneath that, it confused me somewhat, and that is why I asked what it meant.

    Thanks

No problem as the one box has 3 different routes depending on users choice.
