Need help with Twin monoblock LNB

    Hi,

    I need your help please.
Currently I have a 80cm satellite Dish pointing at HotBird 13°E. I would like to be able receive Eutelsat 7B at 7.0°E.
Could someone please help me with what is needed to achieve this.
Is buying a twin LNB 6 degree enough? Do i need to move the dish? which way do I need to mount the twin LNB?

Thanks for your help in advance

Need help with Twin monoblock LNB

IMO, it is better to get a multi LNB holder and diseqc switch instead of monoblock. A monoblock LNB is two LNBs with the switch combined. Separate is better because it allows you to better align/focus the LNB. The monoblock are designed for a particular size dish.

Looking at the dish from the front, you want the 7e LNB east (right) of the 13e one. This is because the signal is mirrored off the dish.

Hope this diagram helps. Not my work. Whether you use a monoblock or separate LNBs, principle is the same.

Thanks guys. I have another question. Has anyone used one of these "SelfSat Flat Panel Satellite Dish" sometimes called squish
What sort of size in these will be sufficient enough to get HotBird 13°E and Eutelsat 7B at 7.0°E.
Link to a place to buy will be helpful.
    thanks again for your help
