    Pixels and stuttering on recordings

    Hello.
I found another post entitled 'Stutter and pixelation on recorded playback' from 2016 but the OP did not come back to say if he cured it.
I have what seems to be an identical problem. Sometimes, usually when several recordings are being made at the same time, the play back on one programme jumps forward evey few seconds with pixelation. It lasts for the whole programme unless another recording stops, then it might clear. I have only noticed it on HD recordings. I suspect a tuner. Is it possible to identify which tuner was used to make a recording?
    I have a Vu+ Uno 4K with 8 tuners. Image 5.0.025.

    Replying on my own thread.
Apologies if posting this question as a new thread is the wrong thing to do. I wasn't sure if re-using an old thread was allowed. I got a reply on it but not a cure. Thanks, ccs.
I am finding this site difficult to navigate. It's very extensive.

Hi Andy, thanks for replying. It's a satellite FBC, two units so 8 tuners with an external hard disk. It works fine except for this intermittent but annoying problem. I tried identifying a tuner using advice from ccs but my remote has no 'info' button so I didn't get to the end of his suggestion.

Some people it works for but all mine are externally powered and no issues.Other thought is to try it on a powered hub then less strain on usb port.
