Is there a USB recovery file for mutiboot on a Zgemma H7s that would allow a restart on another image when the one experimenting on locks up and won't allow a restart? Just read about this being available for a Maxtech multibox receiver!

No - but if you are able to telnet into the box and you know which slot(s) contain working Images then:
In Telnet
Login root (no password)
init 4 (space between)
In filezilla:
In /boot rename STARTUP to STARTUP_x
in /boot rename STARTUP_x to STARTUP where x is a working slot number (1 -> 4)
In terminal/Telnet
init 6 (space between)
