    cannot flash openvix latest image

    Hi

    STB = ET10000

    I cannot flash latest Openvix image, I think it's too large for the flash memory in my STB.

    OpenPLI 7 flashed fine. It's only 90MB

    Is there a workaround for this?

    Thanks.

    And ours is 75 MB.

    If you are on PLI, transfer the zipped Vix image image to the root of your HDD. You can flash it using the PLI flashing utility.

    Menu > Setup > Flash image

    Couch flashing 5.2.042 onto my ET10K worked ok for me. (Also took an image backup of 42 and couch flashed it as well, absolutely fine.)

    Just for reference....

    Couch flashing = using ofgwrite to flash an image

    On OpenVix:
    Blue > Vix > Image Manager

    On PLI:
    Menu > Setup > Flash image

    On OpenATV:
    Blue > Software Manager > Flash Online/Local
