    Update?

    Hi
    Just bought new box and having a problem with updates.

    Menu says 59 packages available,downloads and goes to Updating please wait etc. as normal.

    Problem is box freezes on this screen and does not update. I've left it for 20 minutes and have to reboot using power switch on the back.

    Any advice please? or anyone else having this problem

    From what I can tell, a VU+ Solo SE is a very old box, although still supported by OpenViX.

    What version of ViX was it running before you tried the update?

    Hope it's not getting stuck with gstreamer updates. Will check later.

    If it is, then best to create a settings backup, flash newer image. After reboot, restore settings and plugins. All can be done with the remote and should take a few minutes only. Link to guide in my signature.

    I’m guessing you mean Vu+ Uno 4K SE as they don’t do a Solo 4K SE, unless its a clone....

    I am already on 042 Release, so cannot check on this on GB UE 4K.

    TM Nano SE M2 updated from 041 to 042 without a problem.
