    There's voice but no image

    Hi,
While the old version is no problem, there is a big problem in version 5.2. Sound available but no image.
No problems with the menus and the sound. When I go back to version 5.1, there's no trouble. Are the published versions tested?
Is it possible to solve the problem?
I love Vix. But I have stayed in the old version.
    I need your help.
    Thanks,

Nothing to do with ViX, email Gigablue with the problems you are having.

There is no problem with OpenMips or OpenAtv versions in OpenVix version 5.1. I think the problem originates from 5.2 Gigablue HD Ultra UE versions. I'm going back to the OpenAtv version.
    thanks,

    Thanks,
    What output device? How connected?
How are you installing new version? Are you restoring backup settings - if so try straight flash with no restore and see what happens.

The output device is connected with Sony KD-55XF9005 UHD Led TV and HDMI cable.
I installed two different ways as usb disk and network. I've tried it with a completely new scan. I have also restored the settings through the backup.
Unfortunately the result was always the same. When I go back to the old version (5.1), I get trouble-free video and sound.

Is there someone using the Gigablue HD Ultra UE device without problems?

Have you tried a different hdmi cable? Different hdmi port on TV?
Can you also turn on debug logs (menu/setup/system/logs/settings) and change location to hdd or usb, reboot and then post the log here as an attachment .... just want to see the initial log from boot upto when you get sound.

So both 022 and latest version are at same. Kernel version, so .....
Copy the file from 022 to your PC. (E.g. filezilla)
Then on 024 (or better the latest version) do the following.
    Telnet session: e.g. putty
    Init 4 (space between)
Filezilla rename dvb.ko to xdvb.ko on 024 (or later) version
Copy from PC the 022 version to 024(or later)
    On Telnet session init 6
Does it run OK? Do you have a picture?

If the drivers work on most recent versions of openmips/ATV, GigaBlue are not going to do anything with them.

IIRC, we had hacks in place that may need to be removed.

If you have a Samsung TV, see this thread
    https://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?59290-5-1-024-Gigablue-Quad-Black-screen

We had a similar issue, but mots of the stuff has gone to systeminfo now.
