    Technomate twin 4k motor issues

    Hello. Please can anyone help??

I have this receiver and for some reason when I turn it off it does not seem to remember it has a motorised dish attached. It will only stay on the one satellite. But if I take the satellite cable from this box and attach to my old spiderbox, then the dish moves to all other satellites ok driven by the spiderbox.

So then I put the cable back into the technomate twin 4k and the dish moves ok.

But when I turn the box off overnight, the dish will only stay on the last satellite I was viewing. If I press another satellite, it just says tune failed...

Has anyone any ideas what I can do to fix it.

    Thanks

How are you turning the box off?

Can you issue this command (paste it instead of typing it). A file will be created in /tmp called mytunerconfig.txt, save it to your PC and then attach it here. Guide to linux commands in my signature if you need it

    cat /etc/enigma2/settings | grep config.Nims > /tmp/mytunerconfig.txt

Hello. Thank you for your reply. Please forgive my ignorance but I am new to all of this. I downloaded Putty as you mentioned. I found the IP address of the tuner, but I forgot my login and password to do what you asked. I clicked the Telenet session. Is that correct.? Is there a way of resetting login and password? I don't want to lose my connection at the present.putty.JPG
