    Thanks for reporting the issue. The file has been tested and confirmed to resolve the problem. The fixed file will be in 042.

    If you have transferred the .py file in post 10, please ensure you delete it before updating to prevent overwriting any subsequent changes.

    I can confirm the issue exists on the Vu+ Duo2 as well and the posted file fixes it.

    Hi Vix Team,
    This file worked on the zero on 41 so i then flashed my Solo 2 to the latest 42 image and it backed up okay without this file, i then flashed mu Ultimo to 42 (not 4K), i did a backup image and it came up with a log so i put on this file to try to correct it but i am still unable to do a backup image. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    Can I have a debug log please! (Attach it here) .. also crash log if present
    Menu/setup/system/log/settings turn on and save somewhere like hdd or usb (not flash) - reboot and run backup and then post log here

    Thanks for quick reply It's not posting log it's just on screen I did what you said and reboot the box dose not crash

    There will be a crash log saved somewhere probably in flash if you haven‘t changed the location - are you saying it now works??

    It shows logs on usb now but log file empty

    You will have to run backup again and then if it crashes you will get log on usb in logs folder

    So can you try this attachment for me:

    copy the attached file to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/ViX
    and then reboot.
    Then try an Image backup.
    Please let me have log afterwards regardless of result!!
