    Vu duo PSU

Another issue with another dodgy and dangerous vu duo. How this box was ever allowed to be sold is beyond me. My box started buzzing the other day. Turned it off immediately, opened box up to reveal insides and turned it on again, same buzzing with bright bliding sparks coming from one of the pins where the power cable inserts. If you are looking from behind the box it would be the left pin.

Not sure if I even want to try to repair thIs, I can solder pretty well but should this be fixed, replaced or binned?

The Duo is ancient now so you’d be lucky to find any genuine replacement parts anyhow. As regards WoS shop, customer support is second to none.
