    STV channels

A new STV channel has popped up. There are now 4 HD versions and I suspect the official numbers will change too.

Anyway, we would like to add the region names to the HD ones as well as the SD one without the name. Can you please correlate them and post back details. These are satellite broadcasts, we would appreciate the "confusers" not posting Terrestrial details.

There is a post by Jimbo on the DS Broadcasting section which covers this. The old DVBID doesn't 100% match the current CHID but is close enough to guess which is which

Just match up each region for 103 and 803 and use regional names gathered from the official online Tv Guide?

    Region 35 = Grampian
    Region 36 = Border
    Region 37 = Scottish West
    Region 38 = Scottish East
    Region 39 = Dundee

    Looks like website needs updating

    Code:
    http://www.stv.tv/info/stvhd/
STV HD is a single service across all of STV’s transmission areas, north and central. It carries the programmes as seen in West Central Scotland, including news and commercials, with no regional variations
The News section of website has following regions
    Glasgow & West
    Edinburgh & East
    North East & Tayside
    Highlands & Islands

Only issue I currently see is with your previous SD services names.

    STV Scotland West
    STV Scotland East

Official online Sly Tv Guide declares these region names as Scottish West and Scottish East NOT Scotland.
Suggest rename either old SD or new HD for consistancy?

I agree, needs to be consistent. IIRC, someone complained about "Scottish" and we changed it to Scotland.
