Question MGCamd on OpenVix Arm Receivers

So there is an image called PurE2 which 'has it all'.

Any chances we will get MGCamd to support arm receivers as well rather than just OSCam?

Find out what they did to make it work and we will do the same.

    EDIT: Link to mgcamd here

The usual answer is to use OScam instead:

    Code:

in OpenViX MGcamd ARM can work, it has autonomy for this, but since it is a binary closed code, I do not believe that the OpenViX team is in the job.

Thank you, do you know if it will work on Mutant HD51?

I have a general question about OSCam.

Would you recommend the emu version of OSCam or the latest one?

Also how come the OpenViX feed doesn't always have the latest version of OSCam when it becomes available?

I will try too, that's if they are open source and don't want no copyright on the camd they have.

Osmio4K uses arch64 libs so probably the reason it dosn't work - hd51 is like the other 4K boxes mentioned by Abu as working.
    OpenViX Latest Oscam is fine.
The latest greatest versions often are bug fixes and likely to have new bugs based on other software ... so pays to wait a while.

See post #6 ... if it works on those receivers then there is no reason it wouldn‘t work on Ultimo 4K .. Osmio4K is a special case.

But all these links to mgcamd are for very old versions. One would want 1.45c (which was made for & works fine on mips)
Mut@nt HD1500 on Alsat Superior Dark Motor with 80 cm mesh dish, running OpenViX 5
